Privacy

The short version: this site collects nothing about you unless you press Accept, and you can change your mind at any time.

If you decline, or ignore the bar

Nothing is measured. No analytics script is downloaded, no cookie is set, and no request goes to Google. Your choice is stored in your own browser, so the bar stops asking.

If you accept

The site loads Google Analytics 4, which records page-level statistics: which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, whether it was a phone or a desktop, and which site linked here. It sets a cookie so repeat visits in the same browser are counted as one person rather than several.

Google receives your IP address, as any web server must in order to answer a request. Google Analytics 4 uses it to work out an approximate location and then discards it — it is not stored against the visit. Advertising features are switched off: Google Signals and ad personalisation are both disabled, so the data is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

It is used for one thing: knowing which projects people actually look at.

What the site never does

  • No accounts, no sign-in, no contact form, no newsletter.
  • No advertising, and nothing sold or shared with anyone.
  • No other third-party scripts. Screenshots, videos and styling are all served from this domain.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. It brings the bar back, and whichever button you press takes effect immediately. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain also resets the choice and removes the Google cookie.

Hosting

The site is static and hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps its own server logs. The source is public on GitHub.
